Electrical Design Engineer AMP8

Shape AMP8 water infrastructure in Peterborough through LV design, electrical assemblies, and instrumentation specification for Anglian Water.
Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting an Electrical Engineer within the @one Alliance Engineering team. The position supports Nitrates Schemes and provides electrical technical input to projects across the Anglian Water region. Experience in project engineering and a strong electrical background are required.
Key Responsibilities:

Specify LV installations and electrical distribution systems
Develop LV MCC, switchboard, and control panel specifications
Assess framework contractors’ LV electrical designs
Check electrical schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams
Select instrumentation aligned with process design requirements
Requirements:

Extensive project engineering environment experience
Relevant engineering degree or similar qualification
Strong background in electrical engineering
Ideally, experience within the Water sector
Ability to solve complex problems collaboratively
Bring electrical engineering expertise to AMP8, supporting innovative Nitrates Schemes and resilient water infrastructure delivery.
