OT Network Security Automation Engineer

Build and secure industrial networks with CDN as an experienced OT Automation Specialist. Focus on segmentation, firewalls, and operational technology infrastructure.
CDN’s Automation team delivers OT projects involving network infrastructure upgrades and cybersecurity remediation. This position supports industrial Ethernet, managed switches, routers, VLANs, routing, redundancy, fiber optic systems, and wireless communications. It also contributes to ISA/IEC 62443 practices, audits, zone and conduit implementations, and secure remote access.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure VLANs, routing, redundancy, and network segmentation
Install and support managed industrial switches and routers
Perform OT cybersecurity audits and remediation activities
Implement ISA/IEC 62443 security principles and practices
Optimize industrial network performance and maintain standards
Requirements:
Seven or more years of hands-on automation experience typically
Oil and gas automation systems design experience
Experience with OT cybersecurity remediation projects
ISA/IEC 62443 cybersecurity training
Cisco CCNA or CCNP and Fortinet NSE certification
Apply OT networking, firewall configuration, cybersecurity, and automation knowledge to CDN’s industrial infrastructure projects and remediation work.
