As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build, test, deploy, and operate production backend services. You will translate stakeholder needs into scalable solutions while improving performance, resilience, and operational practices. The work spans event-driven architectures, data pipelines, observability, and continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver backend services ready for production integration
Build and operate scalable, reliable production systems
Contribute to distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines
Improve continuous integration, deployment, and quality controls
Diagnose customer issues and implement production code fixes
Requirements:
Backend production experience with scaling and operations
Proficiency in Java, Go, C/C++, or Python
Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design
Experience with public cloud, containers, and orchestration
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent practical experience
Bring backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud operations expertise to IBM Software’s production technology landscape.
