Use Python and cloud infrastructure to turn Remarcable’s procurement data into reliable AI services for web and mobile applications.
As an AI Engineer, you will build production APIs, embedding pipelines, vector search, and model integrations for real business data. You will partner with Data Engineering on the lakehouse and support AI capabilities including document extraction, invoice matching, and a natural-language assistant. Your work includes selecting models, measuring quality, monitoring production behavior, and improving features through customer feedback. The role combines hands-on implementation with practical decisions about latency, cost, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Build APIs serving AI features to web and mobile applications
Maintain embedding pipelines and vector search infrastructure
Partner with Data Engineering on lakehouse-powered capabilities
Monitor accuracy, cost, latency, and drift in production
Document learnings through demos, reviews, and technical materials
Requirements:
Four-plus years of software engineering experience
Strong Python and production services development experience
Hands-on experience with vector databases and LLM APIs
Solid SQL skills with messy business data
AWS, CI/CD, observability, and clear communication experience
Bring Python, cloud, retrieval, and data expertise to dependable AI infrastructure serving Remarcable’s contractor platform.
