You will work closely under the guidance of the Director of Human Resources, involving yourself in vital HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and policy implementation focused on health and safety compliance. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of HR and Safety policies
• Promote a safe and respectful workplace culture
• Maintain compliance with OHSA regulations
• Manage employee changes and records within HRIS
• Audit personnel files for accuracy and confidentiality
Requirements:
• Background in Human Resources and Health & Safety
• Experience in a Unionized environment
• Proficient with HRIS systems and records management
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to employee wellbeing and DEIB initiatives
