Manufacturing Safety Systems Consultant

Strengthen manufacturing safety systems at The Coca-Cola Company in Peterborough using audits, training, root-cause analysis, and data.
This consultant advances safety, environmental compliance, and governance throughout the facility. The work includes management-system performance, emergency readiness, contractor certification, and structured problem-solving. Success requires applying ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Process Safety Management, and Ontario occupational health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor ISO management-system implementation and certification compliance
Deliver safety, environmental, and security training modules
Maintain emergency response and medical readiness programs
Lead safety observations, GEMBA walks, and root-cause analysis
Prepare performance reports against standards and regulations
Requirements:
Three years’ relevant safety or environmental manufacturing experience
Degree in environmental sciences, Occupational Safety, or Engineering
Advanced knowledge of occupational safety and environmental requirements
Intermediate Microsoft Office and data-analysis proficiency
Flexibility for shifts and extended production hours
