Lead material handling product development in Vaughan with SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor expertise and hands-on engineering leadership. Guide projects from concept through production.
This Project Engineer and Product Development Engineer role supports Forklift and Telehandler product lines. You will manage schedules, budgets, resources, and technical deliverables while leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. The work spans mechanical design, prototype testing, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle product development projects from concept through completion
Manage schedules, budgets, resources, and technical deliverables
Design mechanical components, fabricated assemblies, and heavy equipment systems
Support prototype development, testing, validation, and product improvement
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering
Valid P.Eng. designation is mandatory
Five or more years of progressive engineering experience
Material handling, forklift, or telehandler experience is essential
Advanced SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor proficiency
