As Health & Safety Coordinator, you will support the implementation of Amico's Health & Safety Program while ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. This role involves engaging actively with employees, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your focus on safety will help cultivate an environment where safety is prioritized on all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address concerns related to health and safety from employees
• Collaborate with project managers for safety compliance
• Conduct inspections and document audits
• Manage training programs for employees and new hires
• Perform site audits and monitor compliance
Requirements:
• 3+ years' experience in health and safety
• Post-secondary degree or diploma required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized and able to work independently or collaboratively
• Knowledge of OHSA regulations and safety practices
