Senior National Claims Specialist
Sovereign Insurance
Lead complex commercial claims with Sovereign Insurance as a bilingual Senior National Claims Specialist in a hybrid, two-days-in-office model.
This experienced claims specialist examines diverse losses, monitors legal proceedings, negotiates settlements, and supports national claims operations. The role requires commercial claims expertise, investigation methods, negotiation tactics, and strong client relationships. You will also guide adjusters, vendors, solicitors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine commercial property, casualty, cargo, auto, and specialty claims
Investigate assigned claims within established authority
Direct adjusters, vendors, and solicitors through litigation protocols
Negotiate and settle claims using appropriate tactics
Coach, train, and develop claims team members
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of commercial claims experience
English and French bilingualism required for essential duties
CIP or FCIP designation considered an asset
Knowledge of insurance coverages and claims handling procedures
Strong judgment, confidentiality, and interpersonal skills
Bring bilingual claims leadership, commercial expertise, and negotiation skills to Sovereign Insurance’s national claims team.
