Build scalable backend systems at Quo using TypeScript and Node in a remote-first company serving more than 120,000 businesses.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will code, architect, and own moderate to complex components. You may lead a small team or project while providing technical guidance, code reviews, and design support. Deliver small and medium projects end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
Code and architect moderate to complex backend components
Own small and medium projects from design through delivery
Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and design support
Build scalable systems for a growing user base
Improve messaging, calling, and customer data capabilities
Requirements:
Strong TypeScript experience or JavaScript and Node expertise
Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java or C#
Strong experience with metrics, logging, and distributed tracing
Ability to write readable, testable, maintainable code
Ownership, communication, empathy, and continuous learning
Bring senior backend engineering, TypeScript, observability, and ownership to Quo’s customer communication platform.
