Waste Collection Driver — Tandem Packer
District of North Vancouver
The District of North Vancouver is seeking auxiliary workers in the Solid Waste Department to drive a tandem axle rear load garbage packer (GVW 66,000 lbs) and share driving and swamping duties collecting garbage and yard trimmings. Duties include operating the lift and packer, and performing routine vehicle maintenance and inspections.
Successful applicants must be physically able to perform swamping tasks, follow safety rules, know routes and regulations, and maintain daily work records.
