Empower residents at AgeCare in Chestermere, Alberta as a Health Care Aide. Deliver top-notch personal care and collaborate with a dedicated care team to ensure resident comfort.
As a part-time Health Care Aide, you will assist residents with essential daily activities like personal hygiene, meal support, and mobility assistance. Under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, your role is pivotal in providing high-quality care that respects the individual needs of each resident and enhances their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and assist residents according to care procedures
• Facilitate safe transfers using appropriate equipment
• Aid residents during meals and ensure nutritional requirements
• Escort residents to various activities throughout the facility
• Administer routine treatments as guided by nursing staff
Requirements:
• Preferably one year of experience in continuing care
• HCA or PCA Certificate completion required
• Proficient in English, spoken and written
• Active registration with CLHA of Alberta
• Dedication to making a difference in residents' lives
