Strata Engineering Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead building science projects in Burnaby, BC. This role emphasizes technical leadership in delivering innovative and sustainable building envelope solutions.
As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee significant projects, conduct forensic investigations, and provide training and mentorship to junior team members. Your technical expertise will help in maintaining high standards and fostering client satisfaction, solidifying our firm’s reputation in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as Engineer of Record (EoR) for projects
• Lead building envelope assessments and design
• Conduct forensic investigations on building failures
• Mentor and support junior engineers and staff
• Execute project delivery and quality assurance tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Building Science
• BC Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license
• Minimum of 10 years building science consulting
• 5 years’ experience as Engineer of Record
• Excellent project management and communication skills
