Join the Tropicana Childcare Centre as a Registered Early Childhood Educator, focusing on children’s comprehensive development from ages 3 months to 12 years. Ensure a healthy, inclusive atmosphere while working in the McCowan area.
In this unionized role, you will report to the Childcare Supervisor and facilitate programs that foster learning and social development. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting health checks and collaborating with families to support their children’s needs and progress. A strong understanding of early childhood development theories will enhance your impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement engaging learning programs for children
• Perform daily health checks and report findings
• Support children in developing social and self-regulation skills
• Assess needs with Toronto Children's Services consultants
• Organize community outings for experiential learning
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Diploma or equivalent
• Active registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certification needed
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Capability to lift up to 20 kg and manage physical activities
