Transaction Tax Manager Calgary
BDO
Lead transaction tax advisory work in Calgary with BDO, applying tax due diligence and structuring expertise across a blended work model.
As Manager, Transaction Tax Services, you will support clients and deal teams across complex transactions. Your work includes buy-side and sell-side due diligence, transaction structuring, tax modelling, and purchase and sale agreements. You will help deliver practical tax solutions while supporting the growth of BDO Canada’s national practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence engagements
Identify, evaluate, and quantify potential tax liabilities
Design tax-efficient structures for acquisitions and reorganizations
Prepare technical deliverables explaining tax analysis and implications
Manage, mentor, and develop engagement team members
Requirements:
Completed CPA designation or LLB
Master of Taxation or CPA Canada In-depth Tax program
At least five years in professional services, specializing in Tax
Experience working within M&A transactions
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Bring transaction tax, client service, and team leadership expertise to BDO’s growing Calgary advisory practice.
