This role emphasizes your expertise in diabetes management and requires collaboration with health care teams to enhance client outcomes. You will develop comprehensive nutrition plans and conduct community workshops, all while maintaining a focus on safety and excellence. Travel may be required to reach northern First Nations communities for direct client care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and address individual nutritional needs for diabetes care
• Develop and implement teaching programs for diabetes management
• Conduct community workshops on nutritional education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to foster optimal client health
• Maintain clinic statistics and client records accurately

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Nutrition
• Registration or eligibility with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) preferred or commitment to obtain
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities
• Willing to travel for community engagement
