Engineer Jeeves's stablecoin-native banking platform remotely, focusing on backend systems, financial transactions, and production reliability. Support products used by global enterprises across 35 countries.
This Senior Backend Engineer role covers payments, corporate cards, treasury, spend management, and compliance infrastructure. You will own features from technical design through deployment, using Go, Python, or Node.js/TypeScript. Your work includes databases, distributed services, security controls, observability, and third-party integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Own backend features from scoping through production iteration
Optimize PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis data schemas
Implement authentication, authorization, validation, and data protection
Instrument services with logs, tracing, and metrics
Improve CI/CD, testing, and deployment practices
Requirements:
Five-plus years of professional backend engineering experience
Strong English fluency for written and spoken collaboration
Experience with scalable backend services and production operations
Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, or Kubernetes
Fintech, payments, compliance, or regulated-industry experience preferred
