Environmental Manager Mining Compliance

Lead environmental monitoring and compliance for Denison's Phoenix Team at Wheeler River, supporting construction and future operations in Northern Saskatchewan.
This Environmental Manager provides technical support as the project progresses from construction into operation. You will lead environmental technicians, oversee permits and licences, and coordinate with site disciplines and Saskatoon environment and regulatory teams. The work requires mining experience, regulatory knowledge, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead environmental governance, monitoring, and compliance programs
Oversee regulatory reporting, permits, inspections, and audits
Provide technical oversight for monitoring program implementation
Manage incident reporting and environmental investigations
Support planning, budgets, contractors, and site construction integration
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years' progressive environmental mining experience
Three years as Environmental Manager or Superintendent
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
Remote fly-in, fly-out mine site experience
Canadian mining permit and compliance experience
