Senior Multiplatform Journalism Producer

Direct fast-moving newsroom coverage at CBC London, using journalism leadership, critical thinking, and cross-platform storytelling on-site.
This Producer position offers a leadership role within CBC London’s English Services newsroom. You will manage assignments and content choices, guide journalists, and help deliver original journalism for radio, digital, video, social, audio, and streaming. The schedule includes a late morning start and full-time presence in the London newsroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assignments and content choices across all platforms
Gather, write, package, and verify breaking news coverage
Curate digital and streaming platform lineups
Collaborate with producers to broaden story reach
Provide feedback and coaching to journalists
Requirements:
Minimum five years of journalism experience
University journalism degree or equivalent qualification
Experience assigning, editing, fact-checking, and packaging content
Ability to manage fast-moving information and shifting priorities
Valid driver’s licence and acceptable driving record
