Pharmaceutical Maintenance Reliability Manager
Bimeda
Lead pharmaceutical maintenance reliability in Cambridge, Ontario, using preventive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and cGMP expertise in-office. Guide facility and equipment performance across Bimeda’s production and warehouse operations.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance & Reliability Manager owns site maintenance strategy for facilities, production equipment, and maintenance systems. This full-time leader develops proactive reliability, supports compliance, and partners with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Validation, and EHS. The position also advances predictive maintenance, asset performance, and operational stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop site maintenance and reliability strategy aligned with business objectives
Own preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
Monitor downtime, PM compliance, backlog, and reliability KPIs
Lead root-cause problem solving for chronic equipment losses
Ensure calibration and maintenance activities meet cGMP requirements
Requirements:
Minimum five years’ progressive production maintenance experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skilled trade qualification
Experience improving reactive maintenance toward proactive reliability
Experience with CMMS, maintenance planning, and maintenance KPIs
Experience supporting regulatory inspections and cGMP requirements
Build reliable pharmaceutical operations at Bimeda through maintenance strategy, compliance, data-driven improvement, and disciplined root-cause leadership.
