Job Overview
We are urgently seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst
to support an ongoing
SimCorp accounting implementation
for a pension client based in Montreal.
This is a contract opportunity to provide temporary coverage for a team member going on leave. The ideal candidate is a confident, vocal leader with extensive project management experience who can quickly integrate into an active implementation, drive deliverables, and manage stakeholders effectively.
Previous SimCorp experience is preferred ( NOT required).
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate project activities for an ongoing accounting system implementation.
Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and client representatives.
Facilitate meetings, communicate project updates, and drive accountability across teams.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements as needed.
Identify project risks, resolve issues, and escalation concerns proactively.
Ensure a smooth transition and continuity during the temporary team member's leave.
Travel frequently to Montreal to collaborate with the client and project teams.
Required Qualifications
10–15+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or a combination of both.
Strong project management background, ideally within financial services, investment management, or pension environments.
Demonstrated experience leading complex technology or systems implementation projects.
Exceptional verbal communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Confident, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of project delivery.
Ability to quickly understand an existing project and contribute immediately.
Based in Toronto and willing to travel frequently to Montreal.
Available for an immediate start.
Nice to Have
Experience with SimCorp Dimension or similar investment accounting platforms.
Knowledge of investment accounting, pension administration, or asset management.
Previous experience with financial system implementations or enterprise transformations.
PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications.

This individual must be adaptable, organized, results‑driven, and comfortable stepping into an established project with minimal ramp‑up time.
