Senior Engineer for Rail OCS Design

Elevate North America's rail systems as a Senior OCS Design Engineer located in Toronto. Focus on designing high-performance Overhead Contact Systems for various transit modes.
This senior role involves collaboration within a dedicated rail systems team, specializing in the design of OCS components for light rail, streetcars, and commuter lines. Your responsibilities encompass layout design, structural analysis, and rigorous compliance with industry standards. You will also prepare design reports and coordinate with engineering teams to facilitate project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop OCS design layouts for transit applications
• Analyze wire tension and foundation needs
• Interface with cross-functional engineering teams
• Create detailed design specifications and reports
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning efforts
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline
• 5–15 years of experience in OCS system design
• In-depth understanding of NESC and applicable codes
• Preferred PE license or EIT certification
• Proficient in AutoCAD or MicroStation
