Take charge of financial operations as the Accounting Manager at TO Live, a leading multi-arts organization in Toronto. This full-time role requires expertise in financial reporting and general ledger management.
In this pivotal position reporting to the Controller, you will manage the nuances of month-end and year-end closing processes while overseeing accounts payable and receivable. Your tasks will include preparing financial statements, guiding staff, and enhancing operational processes to ensure financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee month-end and year-end financial closings
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management
• Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations
• Conduct reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Assist in regulatory filings and the annual audit process
Requirements:
• 5-8 years of full cycle accounting experience
• CPA program completion is advantageous
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
• Excellent detail orientation and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong organizational and planning skills
