Senior Manager Indirect Tax Advisory

Lead GST/HST and provincial tax advisory at Baker Tilly in Vancouver, serving clients through complex indirect tax matters and transactions.
As Senior Manager or Director, Indirect Tax, you will guide advisory, compliance, controversy, and practice development. Your work covers GST/HST, PST, QST, customs, transactional planning, reorganizations, M&A, and due diligence. You will serve clients and colleagues as a technical resource.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex GST/HST, PST, QST, and customs engagements
Advise on reorganizations, acquisitions, due diligence, and supply chains
Oversee compliance, audits, assessments, objections, and appeals
Manage teams, budgets, delivery, coaching, and client relationships
Develop services through networking, proposals, and thought leadership
Requirements:
CPA designation required
8+ years of progressive Canadian indirect tax experience
Deep GST/HST, PST, QST, and legislation knowledge
Complex advisory and compliance engagement experience
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills
