Senior Internal Controls Audit Lead

Advance Innergex’s internal controls as a Senior Internal Audit Manager in Longueuil, delivering practical recommendations and management-ready audit results. International travel is required.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Internal Audit, this position leads engagements that identify control weaknesses across systems and processes. Responsibilities include interviewing employees and managers, testing controls, negotiating action plans, and monitoring implementation. You will also train audited teams, participate in special projects, and coordinate external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
Interview employees and managers to gather information
Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective measures
Draft action plans with audited entities
Present audit results and findings to management
Organize internal financial controls training sessions
Requirements:
Five to seven years of internal audit experience
CPA with internal auditing training
Detailed knowledge of internal control best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines
Travel availability to France, Chile, and United States
Apply control expertise, investigative judgment, and stakeholder communication to strengthen Innergex’s renewable energy audit posture.
