As a Behaviour Analyst, you will design student-centered plans that teach lagging skills and reduce challenging behaviours. The work includes crisis intervention, risk assessment, and ongoing program adjustments. You will guide classroom teams and collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

Design plans teaching lagging skills and reducing behaviours
Develop Crisis Management Plans for high-risk students
Provide immediate intervention during crisis behaviours
Train staff in NVCI and VTRA
Monitor behaviour changes during crises
Requirements:

Knowledge of crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Understanding of trauma-informed practices
Strong assessment and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain focused during crisis situations
Flexibility to varying student needs and conditions
Use functional assessment, crisis response, and individualized intervention planning to promote adaptive skills, independence, and student success.
