Strategic Procurement Contract Specialist

Drive strategic procurement and contract lifecycle management at BMC, combining RFx expertise, commercial negotiation, and Excel proficiency. This Montréal position offers hybrid work.
The Specialist, Procurement and Contract Management leads end-to-end procurement for BMC’s GMP operations. Responsibilities span internal needs analysis, requests for quotations and proposals, bid recommendations, contract drafting, purchase orders, renewals, closeout, and archiving. The specialist improves tools and processes while maintaining policy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan sourcing strategies for operational goods and services
Prepare RFx documents and evaluate competitive bids
Draft contracts and purchase orders after negotiating terms
Track contract approvals, renewals, amendments, and obligations
Improve procurement processes, tools, and compliance
Requirements:
Five or more years’ procurement, sourcing, or category management experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline
Experience with negotiation and contractual term management
Proficiency with Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools
French communication and English interaction with external partners
Use strategic sourcing, RFx evaluation, contract administration, and process improvement skills to strengthen BMC procurement operations.
