Mining Construction Engineer Halifax

Mining Construction Engineer supporting Ledcor projects in Halifax, Nova Scotia, with contractor coordination, field oversight, and safety compliance. Work directly at the site.
This site-based Mining Engineer coordinates mine construction activities with project managers, supervisors, planners, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders. The role monitors execution against project schedules, scopes, and budgets. Organized communication and accurate records support quality construction, safe operations, and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate communication among teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
Track materials, equipment, mine activities, and project documentation
Provide field coordination and contractor oversight support
Participate in safety reviews, toolbox talks, and meetings
Verify work quality and resolve site issues
Requirements:
Three to five years in mining engineering or project coordination
Strong organizational skills for multiple competing tasks
Excellent communication with project teams and stakeholders
Experience reading mine plans, drawings, and specifications
Knowledge of mining safety protocols and regulatory compliance
Use field coordination, documentation, and communication skills to help deliver safe, quality Ledcor mining construction projects.
