Lead daily hotel operations in Nanaimo with revenue management and hands-on team leadership at the Inn on Long Lake.
The Inn on Long Lake seeks an experienced Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager ready to advance. This independent, 64-room property requires leadership across financial performance, business development, guest service, and frontline operations. The position works with owners and department leaders on immediate needs and longer-term priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations and supervise frontline employees
Manage room rates, inventory, and booking channels
Prepare financials, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
Administer hotel policies, staffing, payroll, and benefits
Oversee sales, marketing, OTAs, and social media
Requirements:
Hotel leadership experience as General Manager or Assistant General Manager
Hands-on experience managing similarly sized, mid-tier properties
Strength in revenue management and OTA channel management
Financial, analytical, bookkeeping, and accounting systems knowledge
Weekend on-call availability
