Support Evolution Mining’s Red Lake gold operation with mine planning, production scheduling, and engineering design expertise from Northwestern Ontario.
This Production Planner role delivers short-term mine schedules, development designs, and stope designs for four mining zones. You will use geological and survey information while considering safety, profitability, quality control, and production requirements. Working with underground supervisors, superintendents, contractors, and technical departments, you will coordinate daily and weekly plans. The position includes a residential 5/2/4/3 roster with 9.5-hour days.
Key Responsibilities:

Create engineering-standard prints for underground production requirements
Use geological and survey data in current designs
Develop daily and weekly mine plans collaboratively
Track production, development, drilling rates, and compliance
Lead continuous improvement projects supporting operating efficiencies
Requirements:

Mining engineering degree or practical mining experience
Extensive drafting experience may be considered
Proficiency in Deswik Suite or other CAD programs
Comprehensive knowledge of mining health and safety legislation
Ability to manage priorities independently and adapt quickly
Bring mine planning, engineering design, and production scheduling capabilities to Evolution Mining’s complex Red Lake underground operation.
