Engineering Manager Port Expansion
Port Montreal
Lead technical execution for the Port of Montreal expansion project, guiding engineering quality across procurement, design, and construction phases.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Engineering Manager serves as the project’s technical reference. This role coordinates consultants, designers, contractors, the private partner, and internal stakeholders. It also supports consistent decisions, compliant deliverables, and effective technical issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Review technical deliverables for quality, consistency, and compliance
Track plans, specifications, RFIs, changes, and amendments
Coordinate interfaces across program subprojects and partners
Monitor construction inspections, deficiencies, and compliance
Support teams and represent the APM at official activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil, construction, or related engineering
At least 10 years of relevant experience
Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
ASP card and French-English fluency
Microsoft Office and construction standards familiarity
Bring technical leadership, analytical judgment, and stakeholder coordination to major port expansion engineering delivery and construction oversight.
