The Product Software Engineer will contribute to a healthy open ecosystem supporting Equinix’s AI Inference Networking technology. You will design and build highly redundant network infrastructure, evaluate platform technologies, and support network automation capabilities. The work includes collaboration across product, technical project management, stakeholder, and development communities.
Key Responsibilities:

Prioritize and parallelize product development tasks
Handle ad hoc requests alongside planned work
Provide product backlog level-of-effort estimates
Coordinate schedules with product and technical teams
Advocate engineering practices and standards
Requirements:

5+ years applying security principles in cloud infrastructure
Experience with SSH, TLS, IPSEC, and WireGuard
Expertise with HAProxy, Envoy, NGINX, or API gateways
Strong technical skills in complex network design
DevOps mindset using GitHub Actions and DORA metrics
Use open-source development, SDN design, and cloud networking expertise to build resilient Equinix platform capabilities.
