Construction Cost Plan Estimator

Build accurate cost plans through tender drawing analysis and estimating software. Evergreen Co-op seeks an Estimator who delivers professional member service.
This Estimator position supports commercial, residential, and farm estimating requirements. You will establish estimates in software, examine project drawings and specifications, and communicate cost plans to clients. The position also requires supplier directories, subcontractor coordination, and careful document tracking.
Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and analyze tender drawings and specifications
Input project estimates into estimating software
Track subcontractor and vendor prequalification documents
Maintain supplier and contractor directory information
Provide assistance promoting merchandise sales and service
Requirements:

Ten years minimum estimating experience across three project sectors
Previous HABS experience considered an asset
Knowledge of commodity sales, margins, and inventory management
Accurate work under pressure with a sense of urgency
Strong oral and written communication abilities
Use drawing analysis, cost planning, and vendor coordination skills to support Evergreen Co-op customers and project requirements.
