Major Program Delivery Manager
Manitoba Public Insurance, Inc.
Lead major program delivery through Agile project management, risk mitigation, and cross-project coordination across extended delivery teams. Support timely, quality outcomes within approved program boundaries.
The Manager, Major Program Delivery oversees daily activities across Major Programs and supports the Director, Enterprise Project Management Office. This senior manager coordinates project streams, system integrator-led work, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and resources. The position ensures established standards and processes guide consistent project execution while coordinating outcomes with Project Managers and Value Stream Product Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily activities across extended Major Program delivery teams
Integrate project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and issues
Identify and resolve cross-project dependencies, roadblocks, and resourcing challenges
Monitor critical paths, deviations, program status, and governance reviews
Recommend delivery approaches and actions to the EPMO Director
Requirements:
Degree in business, commerce, engineering, or computer science
PMP certification, designation, or equivalent qualification
Eight years leading complex projects, including two years managing
Experience with hybrid Agile and Agile delivery lifecycles
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
