Build search and AI-powered experiences at Muck Rack, using Vue, Python, and Django within a fully distributed remote team.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will deliver customer-facing search workflows across frontend and backend systems. You will create trustworthy AI product experiences and improve discovery across large data volumes. The work includes collaboration with Product, Design, and engineering teammates.
Key Responsibilities:

Own search features from technical planning through production
Build AI-powered services and useful customer-facing interfaces
Develop responsive Vue experiences and Python Django services
Improve search, indexing, and retrieval systems
Troubleshoot production issues and support incident response
Requirements:

Five-plus years building and maintaining production software
Strong frontend and backend application-stack experience
Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language
Experience with Django or a comparable web framework
Experience with Elasticsearch or data-intensive systems
Use search, AI, Vue, Python, and Django expertise to improve how Muck Rack customers discover content.
