Senior Wastewater Design Manager

Apply wastewater treatment expertise and design management skills to Stantec’s major Iona Island program in Burnaby, British Columbia.
As Design Integration Lead, you will support Metro Vancouver’s Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant Program through the IPMT. The work spans planning, design, and implementation of major wastewater treatment infrastructure. You will lead design reviews, coordinate technical specialists, and support project governance, risk, cost, and schedule activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical coordination for wastewater treatment plant projects
Review technical memoranda, reports, submissions, and deliverables
Coordinate multidisciplinary technical input and review processes
Facilitate decisions among clients, consultants, contractors, and specialists
Support budgeting, scheduling, governance, and decision management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
P.Eng. designation with EGBC registration or eligibility
10+ years delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure
Strong design management and project delivery understanding
Excellent facilitation, technical writing, and communication skills
Bring senior wastewater design management, technical review, and project governance experience to Stantec’s Metro Vancouver infrastructure program.
