Senior HVAC Engineering Team Lead

Lead custom HVAC and heat pump projects as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in a hybrid Team Lead role with up to three remote days weekly.
This senior role oversees an established engineering team and complex mechanical projects. You will guide engineers and project managers while managing technical delivery, budgets, revenue, and profitability. The position also supports client relationships and business growth across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead custom HVAC, heat pump, refrigeration, and energy recovery designs
Manage engineers and project managers, supporting professional development
Oversee execution, deliverables, budgets, revenue, and profitability
Serve as Engineer of Record and stamp engineering drawings
Lead projects from site assessment through commissioning
Requirements:
Professional Engineer designation
Senior HVAC, energy recovery, boiler, and mechanical systems experience
Strong thermodynamics and custom heat pump knowledge
Experience with FortisBC and BC Hydro energy studies
Engineering team leadership, project management, and client-facing skills
