Lean Manufacturing Operations Manager
Plan Group
Lead Lean Manufacturing and process improvement at Plan Group’s prefabrication facility as a detail-oriented Production Operations Manager.
This manager leads production systems, analyzes workflows, and supports operational efficiency. The position uses process mapping, root cause analysis, and 5S standards. It also coordinates safety, quality assurance, analytics, forecasting, and cross-functional shop activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Map current and future-state processes to identify improvement opportunities
Eliminate production bottlenecks through structured root cause analysis
Maintain dashboards using Stratus Scheduling Tool, Excel, and Power BI
Present analytics and recommendations to senior leaders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
Five to ten years’ prefabrication or process engineering experience
Knowledge of welding, grooving, and piping assembly processes
Familiarity with Revit, Stratus MRP, Microsoft Project, and Procore
Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills
