Defense Growth Strategy Director

Advance CAE’s Defense growth agenda with analytical and transactional strategy work supporting the Chief Strategy Officer’s enterprise mandate.
This Director works above and across the Defense operating plan, rather than duplicating the Defense & Security business unit’s strategy. The position operates as a full member of CAE’s corporate strategy team. Its focus includes above-market growth, portfolio choices, market adjacencies, and enterprise decisions about building, buying, or partnering.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the CSO’s enterprise above-market growth mandate
Work across questions above the Defense operating plan
Identify Defense portfolio evolution priorities
Evaluate entry into relevant market adjacencies
Complete analytical and transactional workload for Defense
Requirements:
Defense-domain depth relevant to corporate strategy work
Experience analyzing enterprise growth opportunities
Ability to distinguish portfolio work from operating-unit strategy
Ability to assess build, buy, and partner choices
Capacity to work alongside cross-domain strategy colleagues
Bring Defense expertise to CAE’s enterprise growth mandate through cross-portfolio analysis and strategic transaction evaluation.
