Financial turnaround leadership anchors this Toronto Manager opportunity with BDO’s Corporate Restructuring team, using analysis to stabilize underperforming businesses.
You will lead components of client engagements involving liquidity challenges, operational underperformance, and periods of significant change. The work includes preparing integrated cash flow models, evaluating business plans, identifying risks, and developing practical recommendations. You will also build client relationships, support proposals, and coach engagement team members while working across BDO’s Financial Advisory services when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review integrated cash flow models
Develop strategic stabilization and restructuring recommendations
Lead engagement components and review deliverables
Coach junior team members and provide feedback
Identify business development and practice opportunities
Requirements:
Two or more years of restructuring, turnaround, or advisory experience
Canadian CPA designation required
CFA designation or MBA considered an asset
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel
Use financial analysis, cash flow modelling, and engagement leadership to help BDO clients navigate business turnarounds.
