Senior Structural Packaging Designer
Pakfactory
Lead structural packaging design at PakFactory, using CAD, ArtiosCAD, and Esko-enabled cutting tables to create production-ready solutions. Mentor designers while refining complex inserts.
As a Senior Packaging Designer, you will develop corrugated, folding carton, rigid box, and multi-piece insert solutions. You will balance creativity, technical expertise, and operational knowledge across projects. Your work will support packaging optimized for protection, presentation, fit, function, and manufacturability.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead structural packaging and complex insert design projects
Develop intricate dielines for Esko-enabled digital cutting
Prototype, test, and refine packaging structures independently
Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Engineering teams
Mentor junior designers and ensure design quality
Requirements:
Five or more years designing structural packaging
Experience with corrugated, folding carton, and rigid boxes
Advanced CAD table operations and Esko cutting experience
Strong working knowledge of ArtiosCAD or equivalent software
Understanding of insert engineering and assembly efficiency
Bring structural packaging expertise, technical precision, and mentoring experience to PakFactory’s complex design and prototyping projects.
