Full-Service Automotive Service Advisor, Rocky Mountain House
Rocky Mountain Dodge | Service Advisor | Opened on 09/22/2026 | Pay rate: $60000-75000 per year
Experienced Automotive Service Advisor – ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE,
Rocky Mountain Dodge
is looking for an
experienced, Full-Service Automotive Service Advisor
to join our Service team.
If you've worked the Service counter before, you already know the drill — the phone is ringing, a technician needs an answer, a customer wants an update, an estimate needs approval, and somehow three things become urgent at the same time.
We're looking for someone who can keep all of that moving while still giving customers a great experience.
This is a F
ull-Service Advisor position
, so previous experience managing repair orders from start to finish is required. You should also have a
strong foundational understanding of manufacturer and aftermarket automotive warranties
— what's covered, what may not be, and how to communicate that clearly to a customer.
What You’ll Be Doing
Writing and managing repair orders from open to close
Listening to customers and accurately documenting their concerns
Reviewing service history and identifying maintenance needs
Preparing estimates and getting proper authorization before work begins
Communicating technician findings and recommendations in plain language
Helping customers understand warranty coverage, repairs and costs
Keeping customers updated — even when the update is simply that we're still waiting
Working closely with technicians, Parts, Warranty and Service Management
Keeping an eye on your ROs and helping work move through the shop
Reviewing completed work and invoices for accuracy
Handling customer concerns professionally when things don't go exactly as planned
Maintaining accurate documentation and following AMVIC, dealership and manufacturer requirements
Building relationships with customers so they feel comfortable coming back
And, like most dealership positions, there will occasionally be something that falls outside the bullet points.
This isn't intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties.
What We’re Looking For
Previous full-service Automotive Service Advisor experience is required
Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealership experience is preferred
Experience with
PBS
is a definite plus; experience with another automotive DMS is also valuable
A solid understanding of automotive maintenance and repair processes
Foundational knowledge of manufacturer and aftermarket warranties
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good attention to detail — especially when it comes to ROs, estimates and authorizations
Someone who can prioritize and stay organized when the day gets busy
Comfortable having the occasional difficult conversation with a customer
More than basic computer skills
Valid driver's license
The Schedule
This is a
full-time position
.
Monday–Friday:
8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday:
9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
The schedule includes
alternating Saturdays with an alternate Monday off.
Some flexibility may be required depending on department needs, however we are also flexible.
What We Offer
Competitive compensation based on experience
Performance and bonus incentives
Benefits program
An established dealership with a busy Service Department
A team where Service, Parts and the shop work together to get the job done
A Little About Us
Rocky Mountain Dodge is located in
Rocky Mountain House, Alberta
— approximately 45 minutes from Sylvan Lake, one hour from Red Deer and Drayton Valley, and about two hours from Calgary or Edmonton.
We're a smaller-community dealership, which means relationships matter. Our customers aren't just repair order numbers, and we're looking for an Advisor who understands that.
One last thing:
this isn't an entry-level Service Advisor position. We're looking for someone who has actually worked in a full-service Advisor role and is comfortable stepping into a busy Service Department.
