Manufacturing Production Manager Heavy Equipment

Lead heavy machinery production at CMI Mulching with welding, assembly, hydraulics, and engine-mounting expertise on the shop floor daily. Spend 90% of your time with teams.
This hands-on Production Manager oversees manufacturing teams during rapid expansion. You will execute production plans, resolve floor issues, coach team leads, enforce safety, and support SyteLine ERP implementation. The position connects production employees with planning, quality, engineering, and supply chain. Success requires disciplined follow-through and practical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Track daily work progress and resolve production issues with teams
Lead shift meetings, visual boards, KPIs, and daily priorities
Coach team leads and manage documented disciplinary matters
Enforce safety rules, inspections, investigations, and corrective measures
Implement SyteLine ERP routines and new work processes
Requirements:
Five-plus years in manufacturing or industrial production
Two-plus years supervising production-floor teams
Experience managing discipline and occupational health and safety
Understanding of welding, mechanical assembly, and hydraulic processes
Knowledge of Lean, 5S, CNESST, ERP, and Microsoft Office
