Underground Scoop Tram Operator

Operate scoop trams and LHDs in underground conditions for Thyssen Mining Construction of Canada. Use strong equipment knowledge, teamwork, and situational awareness daily.
This experienced operator position focuses on moving materials through underground mining operations. Duties include mucking, loading trucks, hauling materials, inspecting equipment, and reporting mechanical concerns. Operators also monitor traffic, blind spots, equipment, personnel, and changing underground conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate scoop trams and LHDs safely
Muck, load trucks, and move materials
Haul materials between designated underground locations
Monitor traffic, blind spots, equipment, and personnel
Assist with general underground duties as required
Requirements:
Experience operating scoop trams or LHDs
Valid underground mining certifications or applicable modules
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to perform physically demanding underground tasks
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol test
