Supply Chain Forecasting Manager

Drive statistical forecasting and supply chain performance for Pet Valu’s retail network from Markham, Ontario, with hybrid flexibility. Advanced Excel and analytical leadership are central.
This Demand Planning Manager leads planning activities supporting corporate stores and distribution centres across North America. You will direct forecast development, validate statistical models, assess seasonality, and improve accuracy against budgeted objectives. The position also connects forecasting with receipts, turns, service levels, and merchandise financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Validate statistical forecasts and apply error analysis techniques
Research historical trends, demand drivers, and forecast performance
Review marketing plans and forecast promotional adjustments
Produce quarterly receipt plans and track actual performance
Evaluate root causes and coordinate forecast improvement actions
Requirements:
Five to seven years focused on supply chain demand planning
Strong analytical skills interpreting trends, patterns, and seasonality
Advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros
Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or IBM Cognos
Experience with Blue Yonder is an asset
