ErinoakKids Overnight Practical Nurse Role

ErinoakKids is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to enhance care for children and youth with medical complexities in Brampton. This part-time position focuses on night shifts, providing critical support until October 31, 2027.
As a nurse in our team, you will engage with children during overnight hours, focusing on facilitating their everyday activities and fostering well-being. This role requires expertise in care planning, communication, and decisiveness, ensuring compliance with health protocols as well.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and implement individual care plans
• Communicate care strategies with staff members
• Review and maintain medical documentation accurately
• Provide hands-on clinical care directly to clients
• Ensure safety and infection control practices at all times
Requirements:
• Diploma in Practical Nursing required
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario needed
• Experience with pediatric nursing essential
• Work familiarity with disability challenges preferred
• Certification in C.P.R. and First Aid is advantageous
