As part of the T&D team, reporting to the Engineering Manager - Substations, you will leverage your 5-12 years of electrical design expertise. In this role, you will handle technical specifications, engage with clients, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Proficiency in various design tools enhances your impact on project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver electrical designs for substations up to 500 kV
• Calculate load and size cables accurately
• Create specifications for fire protection systems
• Review designs with clients and contractors
• Manage project documentation and as-builts
Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering Technology Degree required
• Minimum 5 years of design experience needed
• Capability in AutoCAD and related software
• Strong understanding of industry codes and standards
• High voltage experience is an asset
