Industrial Controls Engineering Manager

Lead industrial automation delivery at Uptime Industrial as an Industrial Controls Manager, guiding PLC, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls work.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a growing controls team and oversee projects from estimating through commissioning. The role combines technical direction, project delivery, people management, and departmental improvement. You will support safe, efficient execution while developing controls professionals and maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop controls engineers and technicians
Oversee automation projects from estimating through commissioning
Review designs, drawings, panel layouts, and technical documentation
Approve estimates, change orders, and technical proposals
Establish engineering standards and quality assurance processes
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in electrical engineering or related discipline
Ten or more years in industrial controls, automation, or electrical engineering
Five or more years managing technical teams
Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, HMI, and SCADA systems
Experience with FAT, SAT, startup, and commissioning
