AI Governance and Automation Engineering Lead

As Assistant Vice President Lead AI Engineer, you will ensure AI solutions support compliance across Claims, underwriting, Finance, and Technology. You will work with business, technology, and regional teams to implement production-grade capabilities. Cost, reliability, security, privacy, and regulatory standards remain central.
Key Responsibilities:
Automate controls across Claims, underwriting, Finance, and Technology
Enforce responsible AI, model risk, and AI governance practices
Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory standards
Build resilient services with monitoring, integration, and defined SLOs
Represent architecture, trade-offs, and AI risk to executives
Requirements:
Experience delivering end-to-end machine learning pipelines
Strong Python plus TypeScript, Go, or Java development skills
Experience building resilient, observable production systems
Knowledge of audit, underwriting, or claims-adjacent compliance contexts
Outstanding communication across technical and executive audiences
Use AI automation, production engineering, and governance expertise to strengthen Chubb Canada’s Audit+ control capabilities.
