Reinsurance Deal Pricing Leader

Lead Pacific Life Re’s Toronto Savings & Retirement pricing team, combining reinsurance expertise, risk controls, and creative deal structuring.
You will oversee high technical standards across quotes and transactions while supporting team and individual development. The work includes applying actuarial judgement to pricing, tracking regulatory and industry developments, and helping enter new markets and products. Collaboration with client solutions supports effective client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Toronto Savings & Retirement team
Maintain strong risk controls across pricing processes
Drive new pricing solutions, processes, and deal structures
Coach team members toward company and performance goals
Support market and product expansion with pricing input
Requirements:
Qualified actuary or financial markets professional
Seven years of post-qualified experience required
Project leadership securing senior stakeholder approvals
Ability to develop junior team members
Understanding of UK, US, Canadian, or comparable markets
Lead pricing teams and transactions through technical expertise, risk awareness, and commercial reinsurance judgement at Pacific Life Re.
